Rousing good laugh, anime has always been like this. They find what sells and makes more of it, hell, that's entertainment in general. It was probably Xebec's best selling work recently.

Fun no-brainer series.
Actually enjoyed it alot more than the the likes of Ikkitousen and Queens Blade as it had an ok plot beneath the fanservice.

Agreed. While it did sort of lose the main plotline after the first few episodes, it still was highly entertaining.

Those idiots at Seven Seas cancelled all their light novels.
You'd think an anime news site would know that. Neutral

If you've never seen the show and don't like its genre, why are you here making these tirades? Go scream into a pillow or something.

Much like with what Viz did on titles such as Honey and Clover, companies just sit and sit and sit on these series.

It'll be a while before we see this stateside in 'any' format I bet.

It could show up on Crunchyroll, although I don't know if they'd show something that really pushes this far into animated child porn.

@DmonHiro @JairStout

Kouta actually has balls. In other harem stuff the guy actively avoid sex like the plague. They go as far as running out of the run if a girl starts coming on to them and all sorts of things that really bring their sexual orientation into question.

Kouta will say, "we shouldn't do this" but once clothes start coming off he just lays there like, "I'm sorry Grandpa, but today is the day I become a man." That's what I liked about him. He's kinda conservative about sex, but he doesn't do anything that would make you think that he's turned off by women and possibly homosexual.

I guess ANN didn't want to write anything too negative about 7Seas.

What sucks even more is tying up all of your money in properties and then do NOTHING with it! I mean if it's so expensive, then just work with one property at a time, and only sell them yourself without worrying about distribution and retail stores.

Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay!

P.S. If you don't like something don't watch it, also... to the people who think this is the cancer that is killing anime, isn't anime constantly changeing with the whim of the watcher, give it a couple years and moe and ecchi will be out, don't worry about it.

Really? Well, more for the rest of us, then (wait, that's not how it works! anime isn't food).

Well I quite enjoyed Kanokon, I don't think it was just because it was ecchi because I couldnt stand Queen's Blade, but I found the fanservice likable aswell as the plot, characters and setting.
