Wow. Better attack the weak point for massive damage.
But in all seriousness, what is it for? It certainly looks impressive.

When we are all cowering in fear beneath our robot-beetle overlords, we shall look back upon this day and laaaugh... Seriously, though. S'freaking cool.

Looks like a life-size Zoid to me. Dude, this guy has way too much extra time on his hands.

Oh man, we are so on track to assume the future history of Ghost in the Shell.

Anyone else wondering if it will have flame throwers and buzz saws attached to it as well? Would make for an awesome killer robot fight.

Any reliable information on this guy, such as what his job is and where he got the parts? Building a robot needs some skill. Anyone can build a 1/40 scale Yamato given enough LEGOs and time, but robots are a different beast altogether.

It almost looks like it's made of legos, but that's still really cool. One question though, if he built this in his garage, then how big is his frickn' garage?!? I know houses that are smaller than that thing...

Oh man... that just insspired a joke for my novel. One of "friend characters" to the heroes builds robots in her spare time... however the robots tend to run amock. I should have a part where someone asks her instead of building robots that will run amock she should build a gaint robot that she can ride in. Along with the comment "I can't build a robot like that! 1. I don't have the space and 2. I do have too much time on my hands... but not enoguh to build one of those kinds of robots".

Heh, he should enter this into Gridskipper - all he would have to do is show up with it and they would just hand him the prize money, hands down. They could pit every other robot against his, and all he would have to do is have it walk around and STEP on them...
This is sooo dang cool! And awesome styling for it too! Man that is nice!
Garages in Japan must be HUGE to be able to build stuff like this... Do they expect that everyone is gonna build a Gundam in their garage or something like that?
