Age: 20 Location: Alberta, Canada Marital Status: Single Drink/Smoke: I wouldn't say that I drink really, I've only done it twice. Smoking would kill me, as I have very weak lungs. Favourite Sports: Basketball, Soccer, and Badminton (Although I can't play for very long, as a result of the aforementioned lungs) Favourite Anime: Rurouni Kenshin Trust and Betrayal OVA's. Favourite Manga: Rurouni Kenshin, Slam Dunk Favourite Book: Shogun, by James Clavell, although the rest of the Asian Saga is really good as well. Whirlwind would probably be my least favourite of them, as it starts off pretty slowly, but it's not bad at all. I also love the Welcome to the NHK novel. Favourite Games: Risk, Monopoly, Cribbage, Warcraft 2. How I became an Anime Fan: I remember watching Dragonball when I was young before I'd go to school, and then when I was growing up I watched Dragonball Z, Sailor Moon, and Gundam Wing. I realized eventually that these weren't the same as the other cartoons that I watched, and broadened my horizons (somewhat). Interests: Historical fiction, card games. Dislikes: People who smoke right outside of buildings, professional athletes that complain they aren't getting paid enough to play a game they should love, people that don't wear seat belts, people that have a condescending attitude towards everything, and my own cowardice! |

You know you learned to walk but you just can't remember that far back. I think it was roughly 2001 or 2002 when I really got into anime but I believe the first animes I watched were Akira and Grave of the Fireflies on laser disc. Interests: Literature & reading, women & flirting, casual gaming, "good music", History and Psychology Dislikes: Tends to vary with my disposition. |

Hi ANN. I've known of you since 2003 (iwth the warrior girl sitting on the left hand corner, lol), but never considered joining until now. I'm trying the whole anime forum thing after a nearly year long hiatus from another crappy forum that ran my life for two years. Eww. I'll still try and have fun here, I love the informative articles here. Big fan of Buried treasure as well. =3
Name: Magaaaaaaaaaaa, well, Magami, but now more often than not, I go by Magamish. Huge difference. Sex: Female Location: Ringling College of Art and Design, effing love it there (in Sarasota) Marital Status: Unmarried and such, but in a relationship. Age: 19 Religion: Technically Catholic, beliefs unsubstituted and therefore I don't dwell too much on these matters. I only like going to a certain Church in Massachusetts, with family. Drink/Smoke: Neither. Likes: Art art art art, anime, all animated moves, illustration, graphic novels, the name David, DDR, history, and swimming. Dislikes: party fudge ups with low standards,  ) ED, Stormfront, internet cesspools, apathetic people, when chocolate is in low supply...o>O
Favorite anime: Evangelion, Millennium Actress, Lucky Star, Mononoke, UC Gundam, Sailor Moon. Favorite Manga: Death Note, Zetsuai 1989, Marmalade Boy, what I've read of sailor Moon, Favorite game: Mario 64, Soul Caliber, Street Fighter (not picky about any particular titles), Smash Bros, DDR/Stepmania. Favorite Drink: Green Iced Tea, Water...like it simple. Favorite Foods: Most Asian cuisine (save for tako), pad thai, college grade ramen, curry (kinda getting used to the whole spicy thing) with rice (fried a plus) and veggies. Also loves meh chicken and salmon., but not much other meat. Other than these dishes, I normally like plain food with a lot less sodium. Oh. a big dark chocolate fan. Favorite Handgun: .45 Colt Custom.
Favorite Sport: You're asking a girl art student...pin pong? lawl. I do enjoy watching baseball with my dad, however. Favorite Music: Anime Soundtrack music, X-japan Crappy 90's House, trance, German Industrial, Ramones, Pink Floyd and Animal Collective..trying to expand my horizons slowly. Fun facts about Magami: I'm addicted to facebook, a picky person, have been to Japan before (wanna go back!), used to be a more hardcore yaoi fangirl than I am now, love older anime created on traditional cells, I enjoy trying to plug myself through various means like Twitter...am brunette.....um...want blue tips..? o.o Also, on that subject, men with long hair are awesome. How I became an Anime Fan: When I was young, I watched an anime on cable that's about this girl lying on a bed who apparently had been sleeping for quite some time, and somehow managed to drifted off to this sci fi/fantasy world where she somehow is the priestess/ empress or someone with power who wears sexy clothes, and there's this cool guy there who seems pretty cold but sexy nevertheless. The end concludes with her waking up on the bed and her family/friends were happy that she wakes up. Rings a bell ? Please tell me guys! Been desperate to find this anime for ages. Interests: History, good books and good anime. Politic Sciences. Nature and cultural stuff. Dislikes: My laziness, superficial idiots and people who's only looking out for their own gains and have no troubles stepping on you to get them. People who criticize others to cover up for their own insecurities, socialists & ignorant people thinking they actually *knows* something. |
