You know. I'm a Canadian and I like Pokemon. But do you think the movie gets released in theaters here? NO! Smarten up Buena Vista and For Kids, and release it in Canadian theaters, not just the States. There are fans of the series up here. |

Pokemon was the same thing in Japan as it was in America. Well, on an oscar level. Pokemon is fun and stuff, but it's hardly oscar material.
PS this isn't going in cinemas in the states, so its hardly going to be on in canada. |

When the cash cow dies and they can't milk it anymore. I shouldn't say that though, I still like Pokemon, but for what it is, an entertaining (though very repetitive) kids show. Emerje |

The movies are substantially better than the TV series (which I still love, by the way), but they're getting more and more CG-heavy (movie 5 was dizzying). I haven't seen the sixth movie yet, but it probably has a lot of CG as well.
