HI I have an anime clun that meets weekly to screen anime... I was wondering if anyone knew where I could locate sponsers for it?

How about instead of sponsors, do fundraisers? You could sell drawings, home-made comics, you could even have a bake sale (Mmm....Cookies.) There are hundreds of possibilities to get money for the group. Since it is a group, why not have the members bring in the animes that they own for the group to see that a good majority of the group hasn't seen, or if everyone just likes that specific anime, they could still bring it. Mr. Sparrow is right about that. There are a few other options to consider as well though. Are you in a university club or are you dealing with a private club?

If it's a university club, of course you can often get funding through the school itself. If it's a private club, it's a whole different approach. My recommendation would be to find a local store that specializes in anime/manga/comics and the like. If you do, you could approach the owners and talk to them about getting some kind of partnership going with them. Maybe having meetings there when the store is normally closed to the public might be a good idea. They may even offer a discount to you if you bring in enough members to shop there. From there, you need to see how the growth goes.
