Weren't they planning a 3D adaption of "Blame"? Maybe they are about to start that.

I come to post rampant and baseless speculation about the Blame! CG movie, and somebody has beaten me to it! This bodes well.

Blame! CG studios are Jinni (3D CG) and Production IG (2D). Info taken from the prologue DVD.

This is just rampant speculation of course, but I just so happened to come across this the other day.

For those of you who don't know, this would be part of Oshii's Kerberos Saga, which is made up of various manga, movies, and radio dramas, and most notably the anime, Jin Roh: The Wolf Brigade.

It's not actually certain that this is being done by I.G but it's pretty likely since it's Oshii's project. It seems like a good possibility to me.

That's Sky Crawlers, which has already been released.
