Guilty Gear Anime?

I am a huge fan of the Guilty Gear games on PS2. In my opinion they are one of the best fightings games out there. Anyway on Guilty Gear XX, in the gallery under movies there is one titled "Extra". It is one really cool movie, it looks great and the animation I thought was really cool. If anyone knows if there is a Guilty Gear anime could you maybe give me some details or was that movie just some really cool extra? If you have this game and haven't seen it, go watch it like right now. Thanks for reading my post Very Happy

Actually I asked the same question you did about 3 months ago. Sadly the answer is No. There is no anime and there isn't any signs of an anime going to be produced. The games are great though. Very Happy

Yes, an OVA would be good but I wish they had come out with a series. I know the art would be great.

Well that sucks i think im gonna cry now Sad . Well thanks for telling me, i wish there was something even the littlest of things would have been nice. But whatever the games should keep me happy. They need to release another one. Even though this is an anime forum, who is your favorite character?

Guilty Gear was weird for me to play. But I'm so used to Capcom vs. SNK 2, which is probably why.

GG has some really good animation, but I'd probably have to try playing it again.

If any fighting game needs an anime, King of Fighters would be awesome. Kyo and Iori is one of the coolest rivalries I've seen, and that whole Orochi thing sounds interesting.

Well, there are others. In japan they've got Guilty Gear XX #Reload for PS2 and coming soon for Xbox, I'm pretty sure they're both online games. Then There's Guilty Gear Isuka which is a 4 player fighter coming to arcades in Japan sometime this year. And then there's Sammy vs. Capcom which is also due in japan this year and will include some Guilty Gear characters.

As for the lack of a KOF anime, yeah, it makes me cry (*Huge SNK fan*)

Any chance this will be coming Stateside? I've been itching like mad to have a go at Guilty Gear XX, but the fact I have an XBox has put a pretty hefty barrier on that.

I haven't heard, but seeing as how Americans are Xbox LIVE crazy and Guilty Gear is pretty popular over here I don't see why not.
