Depends on your tastes. If you're big on action, go for Noir. If you're into mechs and/or deep psychological whatsits, go for RahXephon. If you're into slow-paced supernatural stuff that's heavy on character development, go for Witch Hunter Robin.

i have seen Noir and RahXephon. I hav'nt seen WHR but i will choose RahXephon out of three without a doubt. It has the better history, at least to me. Also you can watch WHR in CN if you live in US (i don't live there).

If you're going to see Noir, watch the first episode and then skip the next 8 episodes on the account that they're pretty worthless in terms of the storyline. Though I would recommend seeing RahXephon if you want a practically complete story. I haven't seen all of Witch Hunter Robin so I can't recommend much.

I've watched Rahxephon twice through in one month and still don't think I have gotten eveything its given me. If you want something that will make you question your existance( which if you like anime you should) then go Rahxephon.

I must be seeing double
I only seen WHR myself, but I’ve been reading some rave reviews on RahXephon. Perhaps reading a review of RahXephon and Witch Hunter Robin would help. |

I have actually seen all of the abovementioned and I must say that all three are excellent and it will be hard to do without any one of them.
Personally, my favourite of the three would be RahXephon, but it would have only beaten WHR by a fraction of a second in a close photo finish race. RahXephon is a very thought-provoking ponderous series. Many questions may arise and most would be left unanswered. This might be frustrating and bewildering but I thoroughly enjoyed the series nonetheless. Great animation and beautiful design, hauntingly appropriate music, interesting characters and an amazingly plotted storyline. WHR was definitely one of the best titles of 2002. Stylish design and excellent animation, great music (loved the opening theme), brilliant characterisation and a well-written storyline. A very stylish series indeed. The same could also be said of Noir. It oozes style. Only style. Simple but stylish. The series might be very slow at the beginning as it attempts to prepare the viewer and set the mood. The series picks up pace much later and it will get better. There are many anime series out there revolving around girls with guns, but I would opine that Noir is one of the better ones. Now, its up to you as to which of the three you rather purchase first but if you ask me, I had say, get all three at a go ! I would go with Rahxephon. It has great charcters, great story, great music, and great animation. Its not that WHR dosent, Its just that Rahxephon I think is the best show out of all of them
As for Noir i have nothing to say about that show, excepet it has good music to |

If I have to put 3 in order, it should be 1 for Rahxephone, 2 for Witch Hunter Robin and the last for Noir
Rahxephone has the great story line, good animation and terrific music. Witch Hunter Robin is magical type and tells us about how one has to deal with his/her own problem by fighting with even friends, colleagues of themselves. Noir has action but the story is so simple. |

I'd choose "Last Exile".
But of the three, "Rahxephon" is the obvious choice for me. It was the best anime series I saw last year and it does so many things so well (good characters, touching love story subplot, great mecha action, good quality animation and style, and enough question marks - without becoming maddening evasive - to allow you to form your own interpretations as to what happened). "Witch Hunter Robin" would be next. After 3 volumes, I'm really enjoying the characterization and mood of the series. Looks like things should get quite interesting in this one. "Noir" is the weakest of the three. Plenty of action and style but little else. It does get good near the end but it's really just a renter. But seriously....if you can go with something other than the three..."Last Exile" is IT. |

I own all 3 of these anime, I'd go with Rahxephon since it's alot like Evangelion and does require you to think, but all 3 are worth getting. Get Noir after that, since most of my friends didn't like WHR. Enjoy your anime.
