I have been a major contributor to the encyclopedia on this site and I feel I can continue to help but I feel that there are a lot of errors on this site I feel I can fix a lot faster but I again feel it does take somewhat too long with some of the mods. I am Number 14 in-terms of Encyclopedic Contributions with 12,462 as of this date, I feel I can help correct a lot more if I had some enhanced powers, but sadly I have no idea how I can become an encyclopedia editor.

That would be at the discretion of the staff, more so the administrators. You can try appealing to them, because only the admin (tempest, Zac, Dan42) have the abilities to make users part of the staff or not. However dormcat, areaseven, and abunai will probably also have their say in it, since they are senior members of the staff. Depends upon what and how your contributions have been. |

I was also intrigued in regards as to how one could become an encyclopedia editor. However, I'm nowhere near 12,462 contributions. That's just crazy, I only have 15 total contributions on four pages (FLOW, abingdon boys school, L'Arc~en~Ciel, and Utada Hikaru).
That said, how do you keep track of all of your contributions with so many? Did you actually count, and/or record them down somehow, or is there a means of knowing the amount of contributions you've made on this site? Thanks. Wow, I just noticed a really ugly typing error thanks to your quoting, and I also realized that you guys are insane (in the best possible way of course). It's amazing how many contributions have been made. It always seems that my contributions are too minor ( at least in quantity) to even be listed. No matter, soon enough. Thanks for the list.

Usually when I start thinking "hmm, we need more editors", I go through the list of contributors, starting from the top, asking those who are not yet editors if they would like to become one.
In your case, you probably just didn't have the number of contributions I was looking for the last time I did this. But now you do. So... are you sure you want this? There's no pay, fixing errors can be a lengthy process, and you have to wrestle daily with human stupidity (some errors are really stupid). Are you up to that challenge? |

@JackCox: I see that over 90% of your submission are casts of English dub, yet for most of them the source URL is nothing but one word: "Credits." That is way too simplistic, and when someone else submits an error report on what you've submitted we have no way but finding the original video (and you left no episode numbers) to verify it. In many cases either such video is not available (especially for older series) or the information is episode-specific.
I'm not saying that you are disqualified (I'm not in such position to say so anyway), but it would be better if you could make lives of your potential coworkers easier. |

Should I have Stated DVD Episode Credits? If I could go through all my submissions I might be able to correct some of them. But then again I don't know where they all are. |

Absolutely I am. I don't care about Pay, I'm an obsessive compulsive character. |

I'm not certain but I haven't gotten a contact recently from Dan, I'd like to start as soon as possible when it comes to editing.

I'm not saying there's anything wrong here but I was told something would be done about this and I've been waiting almost two weeks to hear a response by Dan 42. I understand people are busy, but I hope he does read this.
