I really don't understand what editors are thinking.
Okay you decided to continue the story, why publish it once/twice a year tho? You have multiple talented people working on it.
Do they want to milk it for as long as possible? Because if Miura probably had health issues / wanted to work on other stuff (like Duranki), now I have no explanation for what's going on

Because those multiple talented people likely want to take their time making it to the best of their abilities, so as to properly honor Miura, instead of rushing the remainder of the story out? Also, Kouji Mori (the guy who's supervising this continuation) has also been making his own manga, D. Diver, since 2023 so I imagine it's essentially impossible for him to do both D. Diver & Berserk simultaneously.
Just because Miura has passed away that doesn't mean that Berserk should be treated like it's a robotic production line to the finish. Let the creatives take their time.

I would agree that this is the way to go if we were getting art comparable to Miura's, but we aren't. It's still good, but it's not nearly the same standard as Miura. Instead of single chapters every 4-8 months, they should put it in hold until a dedicated group can take it over and put the effort and time into Berserk that it deserves. There's a compromise between 2 chapters a year and an assembly line churn out.

There isn't a "dedicated group" to take over. This is Miura's former assistants and his friend that he shared the plot with. It's either this team, or Berserk is over without an ending.

Berserk isn't some secret family recipe that can't be shared or else it will doom the family restaurant. It's a manga. The story details and art responsibilities can be shared out to a different group the current one respects, and if none exist, they should shelve it until they can dedicate the time for consistent releases, even if it's only once every three months. If they have such reverence for the property that they can't allow anyone else to work on it, then they should also have enough reverence to dedicate time to it. This current schedule is unfair to current fans and is certainly not attracting any new ones.

You're right, it's a manga. It's one man's story and art that his closest friends are trying to continue and conclude after his death. We are not entitled to see that ending. You are not entitled to a single chapter more. We are fortunate for what we get.

You should be grateful this series is even continuing as it could of easily been never finished as most works don't have the luxury once the original author dies.
Take all the time you need. we waited this long we can go on for more as long as the story remains faithful to the original authors intended destination.
