This was one of the season's strongest debuts, and after two episodes it ranks behind only The Apothecary Diaries as my favorite of the season. Alina is an immediately-likable and easily-relatable character, and I also find it interesting how they've made her quite busty but (at least so far) aren't acutely emphasizing that. If they make figma of her down the road, I'd get both the Guild Receptionist and Executioner versions.
In general, it's shaping up to be a fun series.

I'm still not sold on this show. I'm not sure what exactly is likable about Alina. All she does is get angry and complain, those are her only two states of emotion. The humor also seems to rely heavily on Alina's misery but the show has given me no reason to care. Her only goal is to live a carefree life because she's lazy but she's so bad at her job she winds up having to do a ton of extra work. Yeah, that's pretty funny for like a moment but this show seems to think it's really hilarious for some reason.
The only redeeming quality is that it's Cloverworks is doing this show but even then the animation hasn't really wowed me yet it's just passable.
Also what's the deal with the adventurer going on a rampage? Did the anime skip a scene or was his entire motivation really just to get back at Alina because she was a little rude? Seems like an incredibly lazy way for Alina to get exposed but if it means something interesting happens next episode I guess it's fine.
Overall I'm not impressed with this show so far and I'm not sure why people think this is one of the best shows of the season. Also the fact that Alina got handed incredible power on a silver platter for no reason outside of wishing really hard is more annoying than it is funny.

I'm with you there. The show is fine, and I can see the appeal, but for whatever reason it just hasn't grabbed me as others have. To me, it seems a little one-note: there's a boss causing her extra work, she gets frustrated, then one-shots it.
If I wasn't so busy this season, I'd probably keep up with it just for some easy entertainment, but this isn't a must-watch on my end. Hope the rest of you enjoy it, though!

I'm calling it Rieri Just Wants To Go Home.
They've nailed it so far. Alicia is oh so relatable, her receptionist outfit is adorable, and three anime_irl quotes in three lines to start episode 2.

The first two episodes are a good start to the show, as far as I'm concerned. Fun, relatable, and silly, and I always appreciate a good Rie Takahashi character. I'm optimistic about this one.
