Kenichi was a really fun read (despite the heavy fanservice). Probably my guiltiest pleasure (because of the fanservice). The fights were both inventive in choreography and emotional pay off. I remember vividly, even years later, small details from even some of the small one-off fights. It was too bad that the author ended the manga when he did. (It has an ending, but it's feels clear that he could have continued writing instead of wrapping everything up)

I didn't realize he had another manga. I'll have to check it out.

He also did Tokiwa Kitareri!!.

As far as Kenchi goes, that is near the top of my list of anime that I wish got remade.

Seems like an interesting new series from the author.

(I wonder how much fanservice will be in it...).
