Really glad this show is getting dubbed.

Small correction, the character's name is Kurashiki, not Kanashiki. Hidive includes the correct name of the character.

On one hand, this is super exciting because Insomniacs is one of my all time favorite series.

On the other, you couldn't have dubbed it BEFORE releasing it on blu ray?!?!

Glad I didn’t buy the sub only bluray. Sentai dubs are always strongest when they do these kind of shows. Sentai directors seem to struggle with over the top stuff while Crunchyroll always makes their slice of life/dramas too “anime” for my liking. I’m guessing the acting/directing scenes in Houston and Dallas are pretty different. Jad Saxton really surprised me. I’ve only heard her as lively cartoony characters and she is absolutely perfect in this very different role.

Jad has done plenty of down to Earth roles in shows like Grimgar of Fantasy and Ash and Bloom into You.

Are you confusing her with Tia Ballard?
