So we're back to just Anime Studios instead of ones from around the World, interesting.

No Studio Bones, huh? Dang, I was kinda hoping we'd finally get a light-saber fight animated by Yutaka Nakamura, but alas, I'm still waiting.

Back to being anime focused!

I'm really looking forward to what WIT, David Productions, and Polygon Pictures do.

I'm sensing a pattern of Japan, Western, Japan here so I wonder if volume 4 will be Western studios again...But what do I know I'm not a star wars fan I just like anthologies

So I see Disney & Lucasfilm have announced a 3rd season of Star Wars: Visions. So Wit Studio, and David Production are going to get involved in this one this time. Still no Sunrise/Bandai-Namco Studio, Satelight, UFOtable, nor MAPPA involvement in this one.

Looks like I correctly predicted Wit Studio and David Production involvement.

I wonder when will we see Satelight, BONES, Ufotable, Toei Animation, TMS Animation, OLM, Shin-Ei, MAPPA, and maybe A-1 Pictures.

You're not alone, I'm also wondering if there is a pattern here. Is there a future season where we get Chinese animation studio, and more South Korean studio involved in future Star Wars: Vision anthologies assuming we get more seasons of this. But still, I want to see other Japanese animation studio like the one I listed above to get involved.

Let's Goooooo! More short stories in the Star Wars universe unburdened by Skywalker lore or the demands of the easter egg loving parts of the fanbase please!

Kinema Citrus and Production IG knocked it out of the park last time with Village Bride and Ninth Jedi, so I'm excited to see them return for Season 3. The Duel had some interesting animation too, so I'm curious to see if Kamikaze Doga go with a similar style to try something equally bold and new.

Anxiously anticipating the efforts of David Production and Wit Studio in this new season, while not holding my breath for the CG efforts of Polygon & Project Q.

I don't know if this count as a pattern yet. It could also just mean the western-focused stuff didn't do well so they're backtracking to anime again. I didn't even know there was a second season of western-animated stuff so maybe that says something.

If volume 4 does lean towards Western studios again, it might be an attempt to balance the diverse storytelling methods and appeal to a broader audience.

Pity Studio-A1/Cloverworks is once again not among the participating studios again; because as shown by the loving effort & the reverence they have to the Prequel Trilogy they invested into Kirito’s Lightsaber Swordplay in the “Phantom Bullet” Arc of “Sword Art Online 2”, Disney is missing out on working on a classic short with a studio that are on the same page as Classic Lucas and clearly knows what they are doing. Oh well, there’s always Season 4, looking on the bright side. And hopefully Kajiura Yuki gets to compose the music for one story one day too.

I heard little to nothing of the second volume, compared to the first. There was probably more buzz over the first because of the anime aspect.

The only one that really stuck out to me in Vol 2 was Aardman’s short, which was a surprisingly fun story about a pilot and her embarrassing mom. But nothing there was on the same level as The Twins or The Ninth Jedi.
