Probably cause it is ending, same reason with isekai smartphone, it is to give it one last boost before it ends completely. |

Which version? Novel, Light Novel, or Manga? |

Nice, it's been a long time since I read a volume but I wanted to see the next arcs in the anime, regarding the ending so far I haven't heard any news about it yet, reading the description on the Amazon JP page for volume 31, it doesn't seem like the LN is ending soon, which is usually written, same for the manga adaptation. It's a pity Run Girls, Run! and Wake Up, Girls! are no longer active, i enjoyed their OP/ED for the first season.

I have not checked the wn vers but some people told me that it is close to ending so i would imagine the ln while a bit behind would follow suit if they follow a similiar plot. (I don't know for sure) Considering it was just announced it could be a few years before we see the anime and by than the wn would be finished and maybe the ln will be close too. |

The main story of the WN ended years ago ( it's still updating with extra story ) and the LN bifurcated from it, it was said they would have a different ending. |

Sure, why not, the first season was fun enough and I love reading the LN.

First Episode Title: "The Sequel that Started with a Death March" This was a show I liked quite a lot despite being second from the bottom of the rankings (for a blast from the past, check this out,,,so few shows! animenewsnetwork.com/weekly-ranking/2018/winter/.130138) Glad it's finally getting more and hope they bring the cast back as well. After six years, I wonder why though...

I need to read the LN sometime as I really enjoyed the anime when it aired years ago.

Its sad this doesn't have audiobooks. spoiler[MC goes full harem edge king about vol 17 of LN. Some of the new slaves know something is off and he's playing 2 different roles. The amount of political marriages he's dropped into makes smartphone seem tame by the end of volume 15. Nearly every other noble wants him to impregnate their daughter.(After volume 5 he's being gifted waifus because cousins or nobility see him now in a higher light etc. it gets wild. S2 is gonna be lit if it's handled well. He's got 3+ wives in the making and 8+ slaves that would concubine for him. he's 29 irl soul wise so he aint touching the little girls. So it feels like he isn't getting any. Thats the big beef people had. The dude goes to brothels to handle stuff keep that in mind one of the first MCs in a min that pays for sex.] Edit: Sorry if the spoiler is a hot take but this series got crapped on for the amount of lolis in his forced harem. If this is handled well and we get a S3 after this or a 2 cour S2 we may get to the political stuff cause this guy does something without thinking and every nobility becomes interested. If you read the WN it stuff flows the same way. |
