Let's ask who the studio is first.

Probably cause it is ending, same reason with isekai smartphone, it is to give it one last boost before it ends completely.

Which version? Novel, Light Novel, or Manga?

Nice, it's been a long time since I read a volume but I wanted to see the next arcs in the anime, regarding the ending so far I haven't heard any news about it yet, reading the description on the Amazon JP page for volume 31, it doesn't seem like the LN is ending soon, which is usually written, same for the manga adaptation. It's a pity Run Girls, Run! and Wake Up, Girls! are no longer active, i enjoyed their OP/ED for the first season.

I have not checked the wn vers but some people told me that it is close to ending so i would imagine the ln while a bit behind would follow suit if they follow a similiar plot. (I don't know for sure)

Considering it was just announced it could be a few years before we see the anime and by than the wn would be finished and maybe the ln will be close too.

The main story of the WN ended years ago ( it's still updating with extra story ) and the LN bifurcated from it, it was said they would have a different ending.

I need to read the LN sometime as I really enjoyed the anime when it aired years ago.
