I'm a bit late to the party, but I got a PS5 a few months ago and have started playing Ghost of Tsushima: Director's Cut (also first time-ever playing the game itself), and holy hell what an experience. Easily the best samurai game ever. It's got so many elements from like, Infamous, Assassin's Creed, Tenchuu: Stealth Assassins, and the open world good-ness I've yet to experience from many other action-RPGs.
I'm playing it on Easy difficulty in English, right now, but can't wait to New Game+ it on Normal in Japanese. And if I'm still as obsessed as I am, now, I'll probably play Hard and Lethal in Kurosawa mode.

Been playing Love and Deepspace! It's a gacha, unfortunately, but it's been fun to play claw/card games with the characters.

Started playing a few different games about last week and a month ago:
Gran Turismo 7 (PS5): I hadn't played GT since PS3, and holy hell it looks even more glorious in 60fps and HDR. I forgot how much of a time-sink this game was. And I'm not even a car person, but I can appreciate the beauty in the architecture, the customization options for all the cars, and the thrill of racing. I only have it on the easiest setting, since I don't have a ton of time to master it. But it's just as fun an experience as I always remembered it being.
Nier: Autoamata (PS4): Had always been curious about the franchise, thinking it would have a Devil May Cry or Bayonetta feel to it, and then the anime also came out last year. I'm only a little over an hour into it the game and am through the first 12 episodes of the anime, with the latter making me very curious as to what the game will have in store. I hear there are a ton of side quests in the game, so that should provide a lot of diversity from the main story.
Triangle Strategy (Switch): The last tactical RPG I played was Final Fantasy Tactics, maybe, 20 years ago. I loved the heck out of that. And after the first couple chapters of TS, it's pretty awesome. I read some blurbs about the story being Game-of-Thrones-y, so I'm looking forward to all the characters and twists for this one. I also read that instead of having a job system, each individual character is bound to their own class/job, which I think adds a lot to the theatricality of the roster. And then you have the whole alternate path thing, where the choices you make in-game will ultimately affect where the story goes. Very great game, thus far.

I’m playing Stardew Valley right now. It’s relaxing, and I enjoy the mix of farming, exploring, and building relationships—it’s a great way to unwind after a busy day.
