More Evidance of the sheer lack of manpower and how the overworked animation industry is practically crumbling itself into ruin.

Im all in for new adaptations but they really need to slow down and take more efforts in planning and improve working conditons, cause this is getting more and more common.

Someone please check those poor guys over at Yokohama Animation Lab. Especially their mental health.

A delayed production can result in a good anime, a rushed production is bad forever.

Well slap my ass and call me Sally. Not surprising in the least. YAL is also animating The New Gate this season. I have yet to be impressed with any of their anime adaptations.

They also previously delayed the anime adaptation of New Saga, which was supposed to be released in July 2023. Definitely does not bode well for this rather young animation studio’s future.

Bad news but there will be 24-26 episodes!

I wonder if the plan was to do a split-cour originally but YAL couldn't properly get the 1st cour ready in time so they'll just do both together and hope the production doesn't completely break down (which it probably still will at this rate).

I hope that it won't affect the production.

Waited years for this with silence just for it to get delayed near its release. It just can't catch a break.
