Nice, I had already lost hope for a TV serie, i felt like it was a waste for it to be a standalone -15 minutes special.

Meh. The special was the epitome of a boilerplate CGDCT series. That won't cut it compared to most Kirara shows; let alone Birdie Wing.

The OVA was not really much going for it, but I'm still glad they're making more of it regardless. But comparing it to Birdie Wing is unfair, as the latter is certainly not a slice-of-life series, so both are for a different audience.

Having watched the OVA and being partial to CGDCT/SOL/iyashikei I will give this at least the 3 episode trial. Whether it will be worthwhile or not will really depends on the script writing, since the interactions between the main characters make or break this genre.
No yuri please (not that I object to yuri, but it takes a show from iyashikei to drama). Maybe it will even make golf interesting (the way Slow Loop made fishing interesting). |
