Wait, wait. With a dub? They never even dubbed the show, right?

No surprise on the dub for these, considering they've been listed on a certain database for a little while now.
Still weird that they never did one for the show or prior movie, despite the recent Blu-ray boxset erroneously listing that one was included... Confused

Yeah but relax, this definitely confirms that they'll go back and dub the show and the first movie at some point.

Holy @#%^! They're finally dubbing the franchise! And this isn't an error!

Now the question is when they'll dub the past movies/1st season. And how soon before they announce the dub cast.

But this is still pretty amazing!

@malvarez1
Nope, but considering...

@BalmungHHQ
Yeah, IKR? Back when Aniplex was advertising the re-release box set with the series and first movie, which was mentioned previously on their official site and (RIP) Right Stuf at the time which was listed with a dub, but then...an Aniplex moment and they said no.

But now that both the first and second movies will have them...welll, eventually the same with the series too one of these days.

@MFrontier
We'll have to wait and see soon.

But either way, yeah, for those that missed the screening of Sister Venturing Out at AX, at least there's another chance to see it (along with Knapsack Kid). It was a good watch.

Dont really care about a dub. Im just super happy I can watch both films back to back in a double feature format. This is what Kizumonogatari should have been.

I'm gathering that these are short enough to screen together

Both films are each roughly an hour long so yeah, the double feature format works out.

Fingers crossed Aniplex has the smart sense to dub the original series and first film and make them widely available before this cinema run at the very least. They've at least shown the willingness to go back and dub certain anime of theirs (eg Gurren Lagann films, Kaguya-sama, Mahouka)

My thoughts as well. Happy for those who are excited about the dub, but I have no interest in that and am just excited to see the movies in theaters like I did with the previous film.

Sound Euphonium says otherwise.
