Good designs, but overall, I would say that Cure Nyami looks the best.

That baby penguin in the visual is a Turquoise Version of Pegitan from Healin' Good Pretty Cure which is an another Animal-themed Season

A lot of thoughts:
1. The animals remind me of Jewelpets for some reason. 2. Kind of sad that the Precures aren’t named after dogs. 3. Friendy I’ll no doubt call Friendly by accident. Are we sure that Lillian is a good Precure name? 4. A bit miffed that the Precure outfits don’t have a dog motif (except for Cure Wonderful). 5. Also disappointed that there isn’t any brown-coded Precure outfit; cowards!! 6. Cure Friendy’s braids freak me out; they remind me of a scorpion’s tail or a scaly exo-spine. 7. Having said that, I really do like the colors they used for Cures Wonderful, Friendy, and Nyammy. Wonderful’s colors look juicy (for lack of a better word), and Friendy’s give Halloween candy witch vibes. 8. Surprised that there’s a cat in the Precure mixture. 9. That cat’s got antenna coming out of its ears 10. Cure Nyammy looks like Marguerite from Love Live (in the key visual at least). 11. A chick, fox?, hamster?, lion, rabbit, panda, goat, bear, and penguin…hm? Would someone like to explain the lion and goat? 12. There’s a visible age gap between Cures Wonderful and Friendy, and Cures Nyammy and Lillian. I’m expecting the former pair to be 13-14, as is customary, and the latter pair to be 16-17. 13. Cure Wonderful, huh? Gee, I do wonder who’s gonna be the protagonist of Wonderful Precure… (although it could also be Friendy/Iroha, given that it was her narrating in the video) 14. I don’t know how I feel about the lead Precure (assuming that it is indeed Wonderful) being a dog, or that she seems to retain a lot of her dog traits even in human form… |

Cure Chocolat is probably the closest you'll get with her red and brown motif. Brown is probably not one of the more marketable colors compared to the brighter, happier shades the series tends to go for. |

The synopsis makes it seem like Komugi is the actual Precure, not Iroha.

Yes and no. BOTH Komugi and Iroha are Precures. The dog and her owner are magical girls.

So after Hirogaru Sky breaking the pattern of the protagonist always being a normal human girl from Earth, this time it won't even be an human.
Looking forward to Naganawa Maria as a Precure. |

Seriously? Nyammy? That's the name they're going with? Whelp, looks like Yum-Yum is no longer the stupidest Cure name I've heard. Nyammy just de-throned it.

Ah, I'm liking the designs more now that I'm seeing their official art instead of just in the leaked merchandise. I wonder if there will be a mystery solving angle since Friendy seems to be detective themed (a junior detective and her dog best friend)? It definitely has some big shoes to fill, Soaring Sky has been a blast! I hope this season continues to push the same genre boundaries that Sky did.

Its definitely the most adorable installment of Precure to date. Also Cure Friendy makes no sense (I thought it was a typo from the leak), I still think the name should have been Cure Friendly, which makes perfect sense.
Btw, Lillian is the name of a flower well part of its scientific name for an Amaryllis that is. |

No surprise who Lilian and Nyami are...though I wonder if Satoru and his rabbit will become Cures too? |

I heard it's because "Friendly" would be difficult to pronounce in Japanese, so Toei went with Friendy instead. Either that or Toei likes being kooky. I adore the overall aesthetic for Wonderful; the colours, the designs, the MERCH. Everything is super cute and darling. Totes kira yaba! |

Is Nyami supposed to be like "Nayami", as in the JP word for worries, or is it really just "haha nyammy food xddd" lmfao
