Isn't this the same company that makes Muv Luv series? Aren't they supposed to be owned by Avex? Why do they have to rely on crowdfunding for this VN?
.... Unless it contains adult content, then I might understand why their parent company don't want anything to do with it. |

It’s worse than that. Avex is only interested in the crappy gacha game, Muv-Luv Dimensions. The only way they’ll touch Kiminozo, or any VN, is if it pays for itself in advance. The version being proposed for crowdfunding is without adult-only content. |

The crowdfunding campaign is only for the Japanese version, although they said they can take overseas pledges through PayPal, but Tenso would have to be used to get the physical items. They said the English version won't be ready when the rewards are sent out, but an English patch will be made available later for the download version; no English for the disc version.

Muv-Luv and Rumbling Hearts/Kiminozo are part of the same universe. There are characters that appear in both - Carrie Savage and Leah Clark actually reprised their roles from the old Rumbling Hearts dub in the Project Mikhail: A Muv-Luv War Story game that was recently released. |

In the Discord, they seem receptive to the idea of adding one or more digital-only tiers, which would greatly simplify things for overseas backers. After all, I don’t want to have to set up a shipping service just for some dumb pins or a DVD-ROM I’ll never use. |
