I haven't been keeping track, but it seems like they have a good relationship with Pony Canyon. They have Dark Gathering as well, which is also by them. |

This one and Dark Gathering are the only Hidive titles i'm interested in this season, but both not available in my country (Netherlands, Europe). Please Hidive, step up your game a little, this is so tiring..

They didn't even announce territories (or made the hidive news about it), for example I'm in Portugal (Europe), and this new one just appeared(couple hours ago) on schedule as it's starting tomorrow and the ep was uploaded. |

As they should. If they have secured the licence already I don't see a benefit in keeping it a secret. Especaially when Oshi no Ko has single handedly make HIDIVE grow.
If I am not mistaken for the last 5 seasons Sentai/HIDIVE has licensed at least 2 Pony Canyon show each season. |

Hate to break this to you but that literally means nothing. Pony Canyon produced (#1 producer or not) shows licensed by CR in 2023 so far: -Iceblade Sorcerer (co-pro) -Onimai -Chillin in my 30s -Angel next door -Tales of outcast (co-pro) -Vampire must die S2 -Ningen Fushin -AoT final chapters -Smartphone isekai S2 (co-pro) -legendary hero is dead (co-pro) -sacrificial princess (co pro) |

What matters in licensing terms is who is the licensee for the show. Like Onimai, Angel next door being Toho, 30s being bilibili, Vampire and Ningen being MaP... PonyCan got no saying on them. I agree it doesn't mean everything PonyCan will end up on hidive, but they sure have a deal going on. reminds me of when almost everything TBS went to them as well a few years ago (until the Machikado s1 season). |

I would be believe there is some kind of deal going on… if CR didn’t license any of the mentioned shows where Pony Canyon is #1 on the committee list for this year. Unless they make a press release, really doubt that there’s a deal. It’s probably just coincidence, people in the past have assumed CR had deals with Kings Record, NBCUniversal Japan and WB Japan when they were continuously licensing their shows until another competitor licensed one from them.
