Oh no. New Idolmaster game? Designs by the Sousei Shoujo artist? I'm not prepared! Now I gotta buy another Weiss Scwarz deck! I just missed the SideM deck preorder, too... ;o;

Makes sense as Vtuber idols have really taken off and siphoned off a large portion of traditional idol properties. Adapt and change with the times or risk being made irrelevent.

Indeed and its 2 biggest contenders, LoveLive and Bandori also started Vtuber activities recently ( this fall for LL, 2 seems to have already started and Rina from Nijigasaki will start tomorrow and next season ( to be confirmed ) for Bandori )

Just like with Love Live, the chance of success is nil if it's a Vtuber project, all because they won't just won't have Miria or some other established character become a Vtuber, where there would be a large audience and chances to grow. Hololive and others have the original Vtuber market locked down, but the established character market is underrepresented.

It's a pity Hoshii Miki Vtuber in 2020 was only meant has a special one-shot, i feel like they miss a good opportunity when the demand was at its peak.
