I think Sentai has it now, they picked up both Locke and Venus Wars after they lost it.

The fact that Hijiri was still making Locke the Superman manga after both his cardiac arrest incident & his Parkinson's Disease diagnosis truly shows just how much the character meant to him, and all the credit & respect to him for that.

A shame that all we ever got officially in English were the movie & a long-forgotten cut dub movie edit of the first OVA (Lord Leon). Understandably, there is just so much manga to pick from for licensing, as by last count there were nearly 100 total volumes of Locke manga out there, across both the original 37-volume run & then later the various short runs that Hijiri made.

RIP

I- I am not okay right now. Choujin Locke is my favorite character from Japanese media, and I'd hoped that no news was good news after everything Hijiri-san had been through medically. I hope his family, friends, loved ones, and other fans will be okay.

Goodbye, Hijiri-san. Thank you. Rinne tenshou!
