I’m sorry my mind is just completely blown by the concept of a natsume dub. Japanese voices do suit the theme very well but hopefully this will attract some new fans and it’ll be great for rewatching when multitasking

Personally,I'm glad that "Natsume's Book of Friends" is finally getting an English dub. It may help expand the popularity of the anime and make it more popular. From what I've heard,it's pretty good and it's long deserved a dub. I'm happy it's finally getting one.

I was always surprised Natsume Yuujinchou never had a dub, until now. I'm even more surprised it's Crunchyroll doing it. It seems incredibly sudden though, was there a prior announcement?
It would've been nice to have a dub trailer too, especially since it's a pretty popular series in Japan.

Holy
shit
I never would have thought Natsume would be dubbed, and with the series being 70+ episodes plus movies at this point I thought it was impossible. Hopefully they don't just stop at season 1

Isn't Natsume's Book of Friends licensed by NIS America? If so did Crunchyroll license rescue it or are they just dubbing it for NIS? Or am I confusing this with a different anime.

Hasn't Natsume's Book of Friends been out for years at this point? It seems like a strange time to dub it.

If they're finally dubbing Natsume, the sky is practically the limit of stuff they might go back and dub at this point. Although most of the cast makes it feel like a Sentai dub.
Also, I believe Melfina is Tia Ballard's second Reina Ueda role.
Parallel World Pharmacy looks like a typical Funi Isekai dub...

I assume NISA has lost the license to Natsume's Book of Friends. It is good that Crunchyroll is dubbing it. And it would be even better if they release all the seasons on BD.

I do remember that NISA mentioned they were losing the licenses to some of their titles on Facebook at one point. They were even having a sale for their DVDs around that time as well.

Seasons 3-4 already got a BD release, but 5-6 have never had any disc releases at all (except in Japan, I assume?). I wonder if this will lead to those finally getting a physical release now?

Let's hope so, because I'll gladly buy every season! Though...I looked on Crunchyroll and the dub doesn't seem to be on there for some reason, even though it's supposed to go up today.
Edit: Never mind! It went up just now!

Aside from Adam Gibbs, and maybe one other, aren't the rest all Funimation regulars?

A dub for Natsume's Book of Friends was one of my biggest wishes for a long time, I absolutely love the series but not everybody I know is down to watch something in Japanese. It's since received quite a decent following but I still hope this gives the show even more exposure.
