On an episode-to-episode basis, this was ok. The CGI was the only outright bad part, which is somewhat amplified by the fact that the main character is a summoner and CGI gets used any time there are a lot of summons or enemies on the screen.

Am I the only one who looks at the English title they went with here and thinks that something like "She Said She Was the Sage's Scion" would've been a better take on it?

the anime jumped through content way too fast. it jumped through 6 novels worth of content

Don't think I have even read that far into the light novels yet. This show is on my list to watch, because of the light novels.
Far as I remember the story had two plot storylines. Finding the other tower masters and what the demons are up to. Reviewer didn't mention the demons. |

I also found Felecia Angelle's performance to be a highlight of the series...and it's probably the only reason I was able to bring myself to finish it.

does it go anyware that said it's a review not a plot recap and if the reviewer forgot part of the show that says a lot about the show and that story |

I found this an enjoyable enough show as it was airing. The summons aspect gave a nice variety compared to the magic you usually see.

Because the anime just barely touched on the latter, while they only touched like 20% of the former. The """plot""" of the show was easily distracted by the side quests that ultimately did not matter while the thing with the demons (which I barely remember, lmao) was introduced way too late (in Episode 10 or 11, I think). |

I am convinced that Japan has something against stories like these that seem to receive the worst treatment in terms of production and priority, do you remember "Ore no twintail"? another genderbender from 7 years ago who also received a horrible adaptation?
