I can't tell if Watanuki still needs a character arc considering how Ro ended. The OVA also revealed more parts about Kohane's private life which kinda makes sense why she hasn't been present in Rei. The only one who is the subject of the narrative is whoever is playing with Watanuki and that shy spirit.

I love Holic but I wasn't expecting CLAMP to be serious when they said they would eventually resume it or that it would happen this quickly. But I'm glad to see them returning to it. And now I wish we could get an anime reboot or something.
