Viz also seems to be dropping the weekly chapters and will be leaving it to MangaPlus. Viz has no countdown for the next chapter and includes this message.

Yabuki will have more freedom to do what he wants on Jump+, so the manga is expected to become even more risqué. Though with how MangaPlus already skipped chapters in the past, I fear this will happen more often from now on.

Finally rid of VIZ, hurrah! Now M+ won't have to skip chapters anymore either.

Posssibly, but at least now we have official word from Seven Seas that they will be releasing the manga uncensored starting in November. At this point, I'm just going to wait for that version to come out.

Honestly, this manga was never a good fit for WSJ (and Viz for that matter) and I'm glad its moving to more suitable platforms

It's for the best, the censorship requirements are nowhere near as bad at Shounen Jump+.

2020 was just a weird year for WSJ. Act-Age's cancellation, the endings of heavyweight series like Haikyu, Chainsaw Man, Demon Slayer, and Promised Neverland, and so many of the manga that premiered that year ended up getting English Wikipedia pages (except Our Blood Oath).

It just makes me wonder why Ayakashi Triangle ended up getting published in WSJ in the first place, when Yabuki could have gone for the web publication or Jump SQ the whole time. Was it for nostalgic reasons for both parties? I guess we'll never know.

I wonder if this will mean no more dropped chapters on Manga Plus or if it'll mean even more due to less restrictions

looks like Yabuki while trying to get a weekly shonen jump series like Black Cat, ultimately ended up with another over the top nudity ecchi To Love Ru. I have a feeling if this anime comes out, it may crash and burn since To Love Ru has a huge share in the figure market for a long time, and he literally abandoned that series and never got a proper anime ending, which will tick off fans

He wanted to continue the Darling in the Franxx manga despite the massive backlash and drastic crash in presence and popularity. You cannot automatically assume Ayakashi will get as big as To Love Ru. It can easily may not.

You say he abandoned the series, but what did you expect him to do with it without the writer? Saki Hasemi is still busy with GT-giRl as far as im aware.

Hasemi was the one who said she wanted to continue the series. animenewsnetwork.com/news/2017-04-09/to-love-ru-story-creator-darkness-is-not-the-final-chapter/.114325
Yabuki was the one who I definitely felt bailed given it was the creators that forced Franxx to end. Do remember Haruna was based on Yabuki's ex wife, and profits had to split. Also Yabuki should have returned to To Love Ru right away, yet chose a new series.
