Am I the only one who's disappointed that the female MC, whom we thought we finally have a new manga with a female MC -- spoiler[ actually ended up killed instead. The male MC ended become (another) widowed dad. I feel like they kill off the former female MC for just being a wife and a mother, I think she is a plot device for Male MC and their son. It's Oshi no Ko all over again (Ai, the former female MC, also ended up killed ... for just being mother to Aqua and Ruby). The ending is so cliche. ]

Do you mean for an action series? If not, we got Akane-Banashi last week that have an great female MC. There also, Witch Watch that been going for awhile |

Female MC in Shonen Jump: - Akane banashi - Me & Roboco (to some extent) - Protect me, Shugomaru - Witch Watch And until past week we had Ruru in Magu-chan (Ruru). And in Manga Plus we got several series, too (Torture, Ghost Reaper Girl, Magilumiere…) |
