Rise of the TMNT was a fantastic show so seeing so many of those names attached to this has me excited.

How many prequels set on Cybertron are they going to keep making?

I'm getting the feeling we won't get to see another show as great as Transformers: Prime in our lifetime.

That was the focus of the most recent ongoing comic, which thanks to poor sales (among many other issues) is why they’re losing the contract.
Not surprised we’re getting more all-ages fare. Cyberverse kind of crashed and burned and most of the attention was on the adult focused WFC trilogy.

Reminds me of the latest CG kids cartoons these days, for better or worse.
Curious how the CG prequel will fair.

That's a completely different form of media hence they haven't done it yet.

Part of me hopes they show a young version of Kupp. He was one of my favorite characters in the 86 movie, but hardly ever gets used.

I wasn't aware Transformers was a Nickelodoen thing now. I wasn't a fan of the Nickelodeon TMNT shows and felt they got progressively worse each time. I agree Prime was the last Transformers show I would call good and the franchise seems to have skewed younger and younger as time goes on. I suppose all older fans have now are the Netflix miniseries and movies. It would be nice to see a proper 3-4 season plot driven show again, though. I'd even settle for a middleground show similar to Animated.

They all fall under the Paramount umbrella, and as per their conference yesterday, Paramount is making it a point to keep productions under their umbrella, hence them not renewing HBO Max's subscription for South Park.
