Don't see why. They didn't stream it until long after the show was over and after the Funi/CR merger, and Viz Media has home video rights. Funimation is only barely associated with JJK via a sublicense. Of course CR could give the movie distribution to Funimation Films, which is very successful at movie releases in NA. Nothing has been announced for a western release yet, though.

We'll get it before the inevitable airing of the archives season which will get an announcement at the end of this film. A few films have had a Western release within 2-3 months after their Japanese debut so don't expect it to be too long.

[Looks at SAO Progressive's Overseas Theatrical release 1 month after Japan's]
And that was announced weeks before its Japanese release...
Why not Jujutsu Kaisen 0?!
In terms of seasonal release, SAO Progressive is Jujutsu Kaisen 0's biggest adversary.
If Jujutsu Kaisen 0 doesn't get an Overseas Theatrical release, it's going to hurt it in the box office.
In regards to the trailer itself... SAO "Fans" are always spouting how great Progressive was done by A-1; especially the animation quality. Well, MAPPA, Jujutsu Kaisen; get out there & show them how it's done!

You know SAO:P was kinda an anomaly among anime movie releases? Most take 6+ months for NA release. Just look at Demon Slayer Mugen Train, one of the most popular shonens this generation and the highest grossing anime film of all time. Still took 6 months to get a US release.

Do you know what the anomaly was that gave SAO Progressive the quick Overseas Theatrical release announcement? While we're forced to play the long-wait game for Jujutsu Kaisen (from the sounds of it).
