To get hit by a car and hospitalized just a week before getting your novel released as an anime, is quite unfortunate.

From the Author's tweet, it seems he only discharge from the hospital yesterday !
That mean he was in hospital for this injury for nearly 3 month, half the time of his anime airing 
At least he seems to be all fine now fortunately and was able to go to the Collab Cafe for Banished today as well just before it end tomorrow. (Previously he tweet about hoping to be discharged before the Collab end) https://twitter.com/zappon11/status/1466628393131479040 |
