There’s also news that Apple Middle East released the movie with their own dub.

I've heard rumors that they changed the voice cast but I don't see why they would.

Either way, I can't wait to watch it and end up rewatching the series. The movie was absolutely amazing in theaters

I think this is what they were referring to. It's seems to be one made exclusively for the Middle East with a cast based on the region too.

And as expected...to say it's bad it's an understatement.

Apparently there's a dub available on Itunes with a completely different (and much poorer quality) dub.

The Netflix version will be using the same cast. Erika Harlacher (Violet) put out an Instragam post on it.

We'll see if the film and its dub are worth watching in a few weeks.

Ah I see, seems like an odd choice to release an English dub in a different region a few weeks before the "main" eng dub releases but maybe they just wanted to be first to the party or something.

Seems like this is just a recap of the series. Is there original material as well?

The movie is entirely original material (it takes place after both the series and the Gaiden movie), I don't know where you're getting the idea that it's a recap
