That's actually pretty neat. They should give you a fourth Blue Eyes to rip up for true authenticity Laughing

I'm a little disappointed they're all in Japanese. The original Kaiba Structure deck had them in 3 different languages to simulate the manga where they were distributed to individuals worldwide. One was in Chinese, one was in Asian-English, and one was in Japanese. It would be more authentic to the source material if they kept that.

They announced this on the 25th anniversary date of the manga 2 days ago. They announced new cards related to the manga, more Black Magician support, a Kaiba manga suitcase with original manga cards (not sure why it took so long consider Konami changes the effects when putting it in the OCG), but no anime remake to tell the true story of the manga for the older fans while they market SEVENS for the younger audience. They did so good with the 20th anniversary in 2016 by allowing Takahashi to create a manga canon sequel with TRANSCEND GAME and The Dark Side of Dimensions.

3 Blue-Eyes at 3000 atk. lol

comes with Seto Kaiba's iconic briefcase

Reminder that the briefcase is the best offensive weapon you can have. During Kaiba and Yugi's first meeting in chapter 9 and 10, Kaiba bashing normal Yugi (because that wouldn't happen with Yami Yugi and Yugi getting beat up is a running joke) in the face with his suitcase to steal Sugoroku's Blue-Eyes. He later did this during Duelist Kingdom by hitting Mr. Crocketts in the face then held him as hostage by putting his head in the briefcase while Kaiba was sitting like a boss and held it down with his foot. Bonus: In Yugioh R, Kaiba hit Yako with his briefcase.

Pretty sure the older fans during the younger years likely gravitated more towards the anime than the manga though still absorbed both. And realistically there’s no reason to make a manga accurate adaptation at this point…..especially given the weird shift from the manga’s original concept to it’s standard fare which you would weirdly have to put into the remake and then jettison it as what happened in the actual manga.
