The heck? A $1000 for this? The figure looks really nice and high quality, but its too steep. It doesn't even show Kanna's signature thighs to justify that purchase. So you know folks will say "No thighs! No buy!".

That's 2-2.5x the price of a figure of similar quality and rarity, I suspect you're paying the price of owning a figure from a prestigious sculptor.

I dunno, as I understand it, it's not just a figure, it's wearing actual doll clothes, and the comparable figures you're thinking of have moulded plastic clothes. Doll kimono are a thing you can basically spend any amount of money on if you want quality.

It's not just a figure, it's a traditional-style doll, which can get that expensive. This is likely aimed more at high-end doll collectors than figure collectors.

Doable if it was 12,980 yen. Not doable with 129,800 yen.
