Wow! Not only is it always amazing to see art by one of the greatest to ever pick up the pen, but it is a kick ass song too! I'm definitely gonna check out more by Saito.

Ha his sketch of "a boy who strummed a broom." That's clearly Kenji, the main character of 20th Century Boys. And the drummer is his friend Maruo. Even some of the other musicians who show up are briefly shown in chapters of the 20CB manga.
This was a really awesome video! Seeing Urasawa-san's characters come to life, even in a limited capacity like this, is a real treat. Maybe someday my dream will finally come true and we'll get a real 20th Century Boys anime... |
