I assume this is a result of the Sony buyout, so Aniplex can stream on Crunchyroll again. It would be nice if they could get the second seasons of Kaguya and Irregular as well since Crunchy has the first seasons.
Will Horimiya and Wonder Egg Priority be next? Other Aniplex shows that were Funi exclusive? I'm also expecting 86 to be streamed on both Crunchy and Funi. |

I think you're jumping the gun a bit. It was probably just meant to be temporary exclusivity from the beginning because Funimation never said it was a permanent exclusive to their platform. |

At least the Crunchyroll video player, from my experience, doesn't seem to have as many buffering issues as the Funi video player on my Windows 10 PC. |

The acquisition of Crunchyroll by Sony/Funimation has not been completed yet. Crunchyroll is still a WarnerMedia company till the acquisition completes all regulatory approvals. https://www.crunchyroll.com/about/index.html Sure, it’s possible Aniplex of America may make available to Crunchyroll other series previously exclusive to Funimation, but it will continue to remain a separate licensing arrangement till Sony is able to complete the acquisition. |
