I would have been totally okay if they had decided not to make the second season after all, given the director was among those who passed away last year, but I’m glad to see both this series and Kyoto Animation again.

That girl in the background of the promo pic looks like Iruru who I heard is a rather contentious character. Regardless, it's really great to see KyoAni back in the game.

I'm very glad KyoAni's still doing this, and I've wondered if this is what Yasuhiro Takemoto and co. were working on when the arson happened. If that's the case, I hope some of the work they completed will make it into the season.

So many mixed emotions. I'm really happy that KyoAni is back, and that they will continue working on Dragon Maid - but it's also bittersweet news knowing some of the artists who were part of season one aren't here to finish season two
I do hope the deceased will be credited, because they deserve it. |

Yeah, It's nice we're getting it, but it'll be hard to watch knowing that. Wasn't the director of the first season one of the victims? Maybe it's better to look at this in their honor. |
