They probably thought it would confuse people that dont do research and decided to release them after OT was finished. I think it is a good indication that NT will follow.

FINALLY! I've been waiting on an announcement about the second GS Side Story Novel. Now Yen Press just needs to announce the release date for DanMachi 15. It's already been a year since it dropped in Japan.

You've got it backwards. The story is by Kureha and art is by Aki (who has had her Utahime and The Angel of Elhamburg published in English before). Yamigo is the artist for the LNs.
