Season 2 was poorly written compared with season 1. I hope this is not the usual case of diminishing returns.

I'm reading the light novel, now slowly being released in the USA. It's by far the best light novel I ever read. I can't watch this anime until I've finished the novel. I hope Crunchy holds onto it for a couple of years.
