Shame this series never got a season 2 anime considering the first one was great

Yes, anime adaptation of this novel is my favourite anime. I wish they could make second season.

Cover art feels like kind of a spoiler, don't you think?

Why would it? All three of those characters have been around since fairly early on in the series, and nothing seems notably different about them from what I can tell.

Also the baby (I forget her name) has been on the covers of the LN on and off since like volume 3

Yeah, Alas Ramus debuted early in volume 3 (in fact, she was the focal point of that volume's plot) and has been a core character ever since. If a second season had ever been animated, she probably would have appeared at the end of the first episode.

Anyway, I'm current on the American release (vol. 16 is due out next week) and I'm a little surprised to hear that the series is lasting that long, as it seems to be edging in the direction of an endgame with volume 15. But the story has been progressing at a snail's pace for quite a while now, so I guess that isn't any big surprise.

Sadly, at least I can add this novel to my bookshelf.

Im both happy and a little that the series is ending. I just hope its a satisfying end. However Im still bitter that the anime never got a season 2

I wonder what they will work on next, since their Yuusha no Segare ended after only four volumes (a shame, it was really interesting to read). It's sure to be entertaining, whatever they decide on.

Hm. Usually they end with 22 volumes.

Maybe we can hope for a 2nd season for one final push of sales...

I would have liked a second season too. I prefer that kind of wacky scenario to the bland isekais we are now getting every season. I think more diversity or less shows of that genre should be introduced. Maybe I should try the LNs.
