Expected and can't be helped. Can't say I'm not disappointed but at least they didn't wait until last minute to announce it. I hope the staff and the artists are able to cover their loses (if they already sent their stuff to the print shop).

Yeah, this has gotta be a bad time for doujinshika who've already printed works only to find that this and other events are being (understandably) cancelled. Hopefully Toranoana and other doujin shops are helping out by buying extra stock.
I also hope that the printing companies themselves can get through all of this.

It will probably come back in December, but they really should've not skipped the number and instead have the Winter Comiket as C98.

Yeah, not terribly unexpected. I do hope this encourages the groups that haven't yet gone to digital sales on their music to finally make the leap, though.

I imagine they want to keep the "even numbers Summer, odd numbers Winter" pattern intact.
