Well, slimes are normal things in japanese fantasy since DQ Very Happy
And no, it's not - compared to usual isekai tensei works at least.

I love the webnovel version of this, I haven't read the LN but it should be just as good.

Its just a slice of life isekai about the mc growing as a person and also growing his massive army of slimes (he currently has about 10000 I think)

For the record, the story originally started in 2014 before cancelled and rewritten from the start in the version that is now being adapted to the novels (the differences I don’t know as I’ve never tried comparing the versions).
Also for the record, the manga has been running in the MangaUP! app, not Gangan Online. Currently you can read chapter 25 on Gangan Online, whereas MangaUP! has the entirety of chapters 1 to 26, albeit split into multiple parts and requiring in-app (daily regenerating) points or (purchasable) coin to read.

I love this series. Been in love with it since the first version of the webnovel. I just finished re-reading what's out of the web novel's reboot.

I can't wait to see the anime adaption.

This is only good if you have insomnia.

I haven't read something so boring since Death March.

I just watched Grimgar after having missed it years ago. I hated it and I realized why. I am burnt out on isekai that seems to be either harem nonsense, incel romance melodrama, asshole power trips, or trope subversion. This sounds like everything I wanted in a modern isekai. The relaxed, my pace type of fantasy. Hopefully the author keeps true to his word.

This sounds boring to me but I can't fault the protag. I, too, would want to raise an army of slime friends if I were reincarnated into another world.

I actually really enjoy Death March but found this one boring because the world isn't as fleshed out as Death March and the characters aren't as fun or interesting. The only upside is that the MC of this one actually has more personality and isn't as annoying to read about than DM

I am crying tears of joy. I've been a long time fan since the beginning, though I think the WN is a lot better since it has more feels to it. The LN is still good if you can ignore the changes. I love everything about this story.

I feel happy for the Author which I rarely do.

Finally not a Trash-Isekai Animated.

Hachninan or other Polygamous animes can't compare.

I did enjoy Death March though I'm not sure what changes there wherein the LN so I can't say. The WN sucked after 500 chapters. But I won't spoil that
