This is a new entry in the series, which was in the 80s. Even the song played in the trailer is a remix version of the original song in the 80s

Wonder if Mayumi and the same cast will be reprising their original roles considering most of them are still active to some extent. |

Now this is a franchise I didn't think would get a revival. Now if only Sunrise would do that to the Brave Series like they're doing with Mashin Eiyūden Wataru.

I have a feeling that they used "STEP" just for nostalgia and that the real OP is different.
Also, there has been an unconfirmed rumor in the Japanese socmed grapevine that the cast for this new series will be completely new. I just pray that it is just that, a rumor, but the fact that the cast members names were withheld and the PV is not voiced does not make me hopeful. |

We just have to be careful though, if this is made available for streaming. This is a new story, which means it may assume, at least in part, that the viewer is familiar with the previous shows.
