Reading the story summery and watching the trailer reminds me of a manga I want to get back into reading titled Heart Gear by Tsuyoshi Takaki. They both seem similar in the both stories features robots raising and protecting a human that is consider to be the last one.
I am interested so I would keep my eye on this one. It's even directed by the same person who handle Fullemtal Alchemist: Brotherhood, and that is one of my top favorite anime. |

This kind of reminds me of an older show with a similar premise, Kurogane Communication. This does look cute, and the CGI is surprisingly smooth and well animated.

This actually looks really good. Definitely gonig to be checking it out when it drops. Netflix really needs to be pumping money into actual original anime like this instead of just licensing shows, slapping the Netflix Originals label on it, and throwing them into jail till a month or two after they finish airing before releasing it.
