lmao this is just getting a joke now all this shit does is show other stupid people how easy it is to cancel events just send death threats. Good work on making who ever these people are that are sending them death threats a happy ending ya really think it's going to stop by canceling it they will just keep doing and than other people will do it because they see they can get away with it.

After what happened with KyoAni, it would be far, FAR more irresponsible of them to wave off the threats of someone that could very well be a threat to the public. Death threats should never be taken lightly.
Now, maybe you could argue that they increase security and have more police watching the event, but that won't guarantee that everyone is safe. It's their responsibility to do everything in their power to make sure that no one is hurt, even if it means cancelling the tournament.

The major point I'm making here is because they have canceled it and went public with it or this is doing is making it so that anyone that does not like the event will just keeps sending death threats because now they know it can work. What they should of done is just say look the event is called of because uncontrollable reasons or something ect. but now because they have come out and said we have canceled because of this it's just feeding the fire for more of these people out there to send death threats because they know it works now.

But everyone already knows this, it's been that way for years. The reason it doesn't happen very often isn't because nobody thought of it, but because "threats of violence" -- bogus or otherwise -- aren't vey often a good way to get what you want.
Not "never", but...
(bogus threats particularly are interesting, because a threat of violence is inherently also "violence". If you think it's worth your while threatening, then you're already engaged in "violence" and whether you're goingvto extend the violence to bleeding as well as mental harm depends more on your personal capacity and whether you have the tools than anything else)

Probably another pissed off whale.
They need to start lawyering up and sue SE, they are being exploited, these threats aren't doing any good nor making SE change their godawful business models.
