The funny thing about that poster is that the Strawhats don't even participate in this arc except for the first pages of it revealing the new bounties iirc.

This would be a great opportunity to insert a filler arc. A long one. Then maybe we can get away from these slow, dragging episodes that we've been stuck with for so long.

Oda isn't the greatest at romanizing a lot of foreign words. What does "Levely" even mean? It's not a real word.
I wouldn't take one-time spelling as official until it's used multiple times in marketing and promotion.

Nami getting more naked with each Arc. Now she doesnt even wear Pantys anymore.
Since all female look like Barbie Dolls, just draw them naked with no details, it wont make a difference.

We've had this pacing for years now, and haven't done long filler in over a decade. They're not gonna change it now. They clearly don't like doing filler (or at least not much of it). Besides, with the amount of breaks Oda takes nowadays, the filler would have to be ridiculously long for it to make any significant difference (and by that I mean, 40-50 eps minimum). And even then, given how long the major arcs seem to be nowadays, that may not even be enough to maintain decent pacing for a whole story arc.

There's plenty of cover stories that Oda has done over the years throughout the manga that could be made into "filler" material. The last time we've seen Toei do that was in the midst of the East Blue story arcs with Buggy's adventure. It baffles me why Toei has not done this with the other material. I'd love to see what Eneru was up to in the moon animated. Or what the Straw Hat fleet has been doing lately after Dressrosa. It may not address all the pacing issues with the anime, but it's a start.

I'd like to see some of that honestly. I read the chapters every week but I really don't pay any attention to the cover story stuff unless it's a color page.
But animated is another story. I'll watch it if they animate it as opposed to having to piece the overall story together week after week one panel at a time for however long the story runs for.

Well, it's true, but Mary Geoise seems to be the official name of Mariejois. Levely doesn't need to actually mean something to be the word of a gathering. Reverie doesn't make that sense either, even though it's an actual (french) word.
Still, it would be interesting to see the word romanized in this next arc.

Yes, I know there are plenty of cover stories they can adapt (and heck, even some of the recent novels that were written under Oda's supervision like the Ace novel), but for whatever reason they decided to stop doing those, and haven't done really any since 2001. Only exception was the straw hat separation serial (which is understandable cause they're the main cast of the series). But regardless of that, I think it's a little too late to start adapting them all now; if anything they would just adapt them as OVA's or some other type of animated media.

Or quite true , the last cover story ( although brief and quickly covered ) adapted was about wapol and his climb into becoming king again.
Anyways filler isn’t gonna go beyond 4 episodes. So.. yeah get used to it.
