Nice to see DAKAICHI ranking. It had some issues but I ended up enjoying it.
Also good job Tsurune!

Zombie Land Saga has my vote...mostly since I didn't get a chance to binge much, but it got my attention and it was a wonderful surprise.

From those lists I've tried maybe 6-8 series' first episode and all I can say is that Golden Wind & Zombieland were the only two to survive my "dropping this s***" axe. It hasn't been the greatest of seasons but then again probably everyone can think that (or the opposite) of any season since the last couple of years.

Gakuen Basara was my favorite it was so freaking funny! Granted you may have to be a Sengoku Basara fan to enjoy it, but me personally this made me laugh every single week. The opening and ending songs were amazing too.
Runner ups are Goblin Slayer, That Time I Reincarnated As A Slime, Fist of the Blue Star Regenesis and JoJo's Bizarre Adventure Golden Wind. Great season all around!

Obligatory fanboy bandwagoning for Zombieland Saga! I had thoroughly dismissed this one before I ever saw a single episode of it, which made it all the more surprising when I ended up loving it.
Really excited for the new season, 2018 went out with a bang!

Dakaichi...really? I like BL but that one was pretty dodgy, it was amusing but I wouldn't say it was anywhere near top ten status.

Coming from the most important anime magazines/sites, this list tell something about what happened in the fall season.
Looks like that i have to give a try to Zombie Land Saga.
Good to see Seishun Buta Yarou wa Yumemiru Shoujo no Yume wo Minai rated so high on Newtype.

I am biased in that the only anime on these 3 lists that I watched last season were Golden Kamuy, Zombie Land Saga, SSSS.Gridman, Rascal Does Not Dream of Bunny Girl Senpai, Sword Art Online: Alicization, and A Certain Magical Index III. However, given how light-hearted the show usu. is as opposed to the more serious nature of the other shows, ZLS gets my vote for Best Fall 2018 anime. For best overall anime of last year, it is Franxx followed closely by ZLS then by "Pop Team Epic". The various memes I saw for and about these respective shows had a factor in that.

I find it interesting to see Dakaichi listed so highly whereas it seems like it's been completely ignored in Western fandom and it just looked like a typical BL show to me.
