Why should Japanese fans been offended. I know this issue would be a very big thing in the west, but in Japan this will mostly played out as a innocent mistake or a joke (except some hardcore Love Live fans that will think their idols were defiled Laughing ).

Is fun to see that they didn't even care much and continued playing as it was normal the game been like that.

Video game characters are digital dolls, nothing more nothing less. If a person becomes outraged when a child derobes a Barbie and plays with it naked there are likely other issues at play.

Update: The official twitter account announced that the bugs have been fixed. The game started running again as of an hour ago.

Reminds me of some art I recently encountered of the Kurosawa sisters. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

The best part is that Wooby is the absolute last idol in the Love Live universe who could be successfully coerced into dancing naked on a stage in front of a thousand fans.

...but whaddya know, she looks quite pleased with herself up there.
